Cocobolo
One of the my all time favorite woods to turn. Cocobolo is an exotic rosewood (Dalbergia retusa) which is native to Central America. Coloring can range from yellow, orange, red, shades of brown, and streaks of black and purple. Cocobolo is an oily wood and polishes well. Experience is needed in order to apply a CA finish to these. These blanks measure approximately 3/4” square by 5 1/2” long (+-1/16”). Lacquer was applied to one side to represent the figure and color. Blanks will be chosen at random and could have saw marks on them.
