Pheasantwood
Pheasantwood is an exotic rosewood (Cassia siamea) which is native to Southeast Asia. Coloring can range from medium to dark brown, to nearly black, with lighter brown contrasting stripes, sometimes with a red or yellow hue. These blanks measure approximately 3/4” square by 5 1/2” long (+-1/16”). Lacquer was applied to one side to represent the figure and color. Blanks will be chosen at random and could have saw marks on them.
